Duke Campbell Building
Use Fee:
- Visiting groups/researchers: $35.00/day. Users needing use of this building more than a total of 14 days in a given month would be charged $300.00/month.
- Courses: $20.00/day.

Facility Description:
- Climate controlled (≈ 1625 sq.ft)
- 20 person classroom
- Full kitchen (oven, microwave, refrigerator, sink, pots/pans/dishes/cups).
- Two full bathrooms.
- Two dormitory rooms.
- Markerboards, blackboards.
- Wireless Internet access

- Phone

Television & DVD/VCR
- Additional space (1375 sq.ft.) available in non-climate controlled area of building.

Facility Uses: Classroom for field courses; Dormitory housing.

Note: Faculty will be responsible for class charges.
Users are required to clean-up after themselves (eg. trash, bathroom/kitchen, food in the refrigerator). A $50.00 clean-up fee will be assessed if not cleaned-up.

Vehicles
Description:
Field trucks for transportation supporting research and teaching activities.

Use Fee: $20.00/day/truck
Exceptions: Volunteers, UF student groups

Restrictions:
- Vehicles cannot leave the Station.
- Users must follow UF policies regarding operation of state vehicles.
- Repair of vehicles damaged will be the responsibility of the borrower (researcher) or course faculty.
- Trash is removed from vehicles after use.

Note: It is recommended that courses look into using their department’s or unit’s vehicle fleet first before utilizing the Station’s vehicles.

Tent Camping
Description:
The Station has two rustic campsites (no power).

Use Fee:
None*

- *Camping must be supporting a Station approved research project or course.

- *A UF faculty member or TA must accompany classes wishing to camp.

- *Station policies must be observed.


Note:
Faculty will be responsible for clean-up fee for classes. The Station does not have custodial staff or convenient waste disposal capabilities. A $50.00 clean-up fee will be charged if the following are not observed:

- All trash generated from visit is removed from Station.

- Bathroom(s) are cleaned from use.

- Food is removed from refrigerators.

Prescribed Fire Services
Description:
Planning and conducting Rx fire in support of research projects and UF courses.

Use Fee:
- Research: $1,500/day
- UF courses: None*
*Instructors should understand that there is no guarantee a burn will be conducted on a planned date. This will depend on obtaining a burn authorization from DOF, weather, availability of PPE for students, and the schedule of staff and qualified fire personnel on planned dates.

Exceptions:
- Fee may be reduced if qualified fire personnel are provided by researcher to supplement staff.
- If an area is already scheduled to be burned that year and season, and no additional stipulations are needed, the researcher will not be charged.

Non-motorized Boats
Description
: Canoes, jon boats
Use Fee: None
Exceptions: Damage to boats and/or loss of paddles/life vests. Charge amount will depend on repair/replacement cost.
Restrictions: Boats cannot leave the Station.

Wildlife Trapping/Handling Equipment
Description: Live traps, nets, seines, animal handling equipment, etc
Use Fee: None
Exceptions: Replacement cost if equipment cannot be repaired to workable specs.
Restrictions: May be used off-site at other locations as long as the Station is a study site in the project.

Radio Telemetry Equipment
Description
: Telonics TR-2’s and other radio receivers.
Use Fee:
- Researchers: $25.00/receiver; $10.00/headset, $10.00/antenna - for duration of project.
- UF courses: None
Restrictions:
-May be used off-site at other locations as long as the Station is a study site in the project.
-The repair or replacement cost of equipment damaged, broken beyond repair, or lost will be the responsibility of the borrower.

Trimble Pro-XR GPS Receiver
Description
: Real-time DGPS.
Use Fee:
- Researchers: $20.00/day
- UF courses: None
Restrictions:
- Equipment cannot leave the Station.
- The repair or replacement cost of equipment damaged, broken beyond repair, or lost will be the responsibility of the borrower.
